About Us

We are the family of our Heavenly Father adopted by His Grace through His begotten Son and our Savoir Lord Jesus who shed His precious blood for all the mankind. We worship and adore Him in His Church(Matt 16:18) where He is glorified through Christ Jesus(Ephes 3:22) in all ages with all the Truth and the Spirit(John 4:24) which helps us to pray and as the gift of Advance(Ephes 1:14) for our Eternity according to the scriptures. Bible is our only Authority(II Peter 1:21) and evidence given by God to have Faith in Him, and Christ is the Head of the Church(Ephes 1:22) and only way(John 14:6)  for Eternity. At first we were far away from Him as born in the country of Gentile India, until the day we heard the voice of God from the pioneer servants who brought this good news of salvation. This home congregation started with one family and today it is same as one family(ICorin 12:13) but collectively with several families. This family of God and Body of Christ is being multiplied day by day by bearing fruits in number and congregations to several parts of the state just as the seed fallen in the good ground. The hard work of dedication and struggle of the preachers of this congregation all these years behind this is highly blessing for us.

History:

India is a country of Gentile with moral values and respects towards one another. The country of worlds longest and the most exhaustive biggest constitution possess 1618 languages, 6400 castes, 6 ethnic groups, 29 festivals. Indian Democracy provided religious freedom to the entire nation. Though Hinduism is the mother religion and followed by major percent of the citizens, still India is a democratic country with freedom for religion. It was the Gods loving plan that His word touch this land of Gentile traveling overseas.

The church at Chilakaluripet was a Baptist church in the early 60’s where Balaraju the Pastor was representing for several years by the time. As a pastor appointed by the Baptist theological seminary to a consolidate area of two districts of the state Andhra Pradesh for about 22 villages, he served the Lord walking on miles on bare foot in those good olden days with no minimal transportation facility. He was blessed with a wife and four children. His wife Miriam is a faithful woman who also finished her theological studies in the same Ramapatnam Baptist Theological Seminary along with Balaraju, was a blessing and great encourager for him in the ministry. How ever along with his four children two sons, and two daughters started preaching the word of God in this land of Gentile. Sunday contributions, seasonal tithes like wheat and paddy at the time of feast of harvest and some times Daily laboring in the fields were the live on of the preacher and his family.

It happened to Balaraju to meet Bro.J.C Bailey of Canada who was then being used mightily in the hands of God around the world bringing up the good news with New Testament Truth to India. Being a pastor of several villages and preaching the gospel for several years, he strictly opposed Bro.Bailey for he felt this Truth of God as a New Doctrine. But after a long personal study and correspondence of several months with the saint, he concluded his mind for the shift of his paradigm. He was baptized by Bro.J.C.Bailey on the day Lord blessed him, and he is no longer a Denominational Pastor but a Christian, disciple of Jesus and a part of His body, the Church. It was not an easy decision to make for a pastor who was leading thousands of Christians in several congregations. In front of the consequences a head going to face from all the churches which he is representing so far, still he looked towards the eternity which he strongly believe and which he don’t want to loose. The same truth which came for the rescue of Balaraju has also convinced his entire family and they all were Baptized. As the blessings poured down God raised Bro.Claude A Guild who was a professor of Columbia Christian College and also converted from a Lutheran Background in U.S.A, alike Balaraju from denomination as an encourager of this ministry. Their longstanding relation and mission work of this combination in India and to those villages where Bro.Balaraju worked previously it started functioning slowly. The power of gospel and the Grace of the Father is showered and soon many other congregations followed Balaraju and entered into the Lords Church. A big church building was constructed for the gathering of the church at Chilakaluripet in 1977 and even today used mightily for the Lords work. Most of the blood relatives of Balaraju were also caught by the power of the Gospel and lead into the New Testament church where all of them are still working even today with the encouragements of few other missionaries of American Churches of Christ. This is how the Lord’s Church was planted at Chilakaluripet.

Preacher:

A dedicated preacher is the gift of God for the congregation(II Tim 3:16) to bring the perished souls unto the feet of the Lord and to strengthen the saints for the preparation of the Lords arrival. Chilakaluripet congregation is blessed to have Bro.Anil Kumar, preacher who always strives to follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness in the foot steps given to Timothy(I Tim 6:11). Likewise timothy to Paul Bro.Anil was trained in the scriptural knowledge from his child hood,(II Tim 3:15) Bro.Anil was grown up at the Lords feet under the spiritual brought up of Balaraju just for the pure cause of the spreading of the Gospel. He accepted the Christ as his Lord and redeemer in the early teen age. His first role in the church rose gradually as a Sunday school student to School Teacher, youngster to the youth minister, and deacon to Preacher. Bible graduation from the Timothy Bible school helped more to shine theologically and spiritually.

Growing in the Lord, Bro.Anil has done his secular education as a Master of Computer Applications with an intention for his live on career in parallel to the Lords work. He has undergone all the troubles from every corner in the career and felt the burden of imbalance in justifying the two roles as a preacher and programmer. He practically experienced that one should serve the Lord in fulltime with out affairs of this life as the scriptures says no man can serve two masters. In front of the responsibility of cross which was intended from the childhood on one side and live on struggle on the other side, he decided to continue as the lifetime servant for the Lord. Forgetting the thought of how to survive he started the journey with the Lord. Heavenly Father opened the gate of encouragement through few faithful Christians around and for the first time from overseas, Elkton church of Christ, Maryland. A small support of 25$ from the unknown brethren, whom he never met or seen, away from thousands of miles laid the foundation for great expectations. The young encourager Ken Natale from Elkton church who directed Anil towards Jason Fox of Florence Boulevard church at Alabama will never be forgotten in his life. From then with the strong backend of the Florence Church, he is expanding the ministry to the villages and towns in the districts to till date.

Bro. Anil was married to Baby Florence in 2006 who was from a strong denominational background. Anil was blessed with another big success in studying with her for months and she was convinced for the New Testament Truth. She became a route cause to bring all her family to the Bible study with Anil and another six souls were added to the church. She turned a blessing to his ministry and encouraging him in all the way to preach the Redemption plan to many others who are away from it.

With the thirst of spreading the good news and burden of expanding the Lords Kingdom, he is fighting from the day he lifted the cross till date like a warrior of the battle for the Kingdom of peace. Number of souls was baptized all around the state. Most of the souls that were won so far are from the personal Bible study.
